Description
Zenet Surrow, a Haos-attribute Gundalian brawler, serves as a strategic operative within Emperor Barodius’s Twelve Orders, wielding the shapeshifting Bakugan Contestir to infiltrate adversaries by mimicking figures like Julie Makimoto and Ren Krawler. Cynical yet driven by a deep-seated fear of failure, she distrusts Gundalian loyalty yet fiercely protects her comrades, notably forging a resilient partnership with Lena Isis.

Her allegiance to Barodius fractures when Gill exploits her to spy on Kazarina, then callously discards her. Captured and hypnotized by Kazarina, Zenet becomes a unwilling pawn until Kazarina’s downfall breaks the mental shackles, spurring her to defect. Allying with Neathian forces, she opposes Gundalian conquests despite ingrained prejudices.

Early clashes with Dan Kuso and Ren Krawler highlight her tactical ingenuity, though Earth battles end in defeat. A scheme to steal Drago by impersonating Julie unravels when the genuine Julie thwarts her. Undeterred, she infiltrates Gill’s ranks disguised as Ren, only to be exposed and overpowered. Her resolve wavers until Contestir defies Gundalian norms by reaffirming unwavering loyalty, sparking Zenet’s emotional reckoning with their bond.

In the final uprising, she collaborates with former rivals Nurzak and Mason Brown to challenge Barodius, enduring crushing losses against Phantom Dharak yet persisting until the regime’s collapse. Post-war, she returns to Gundalia, aiding reconstruction efforts and shedding her xenophobia, symbolizing her evolution from disillusioned agent to proactive architect of a reformed future.
