TV-Series
Description
Avior is a wyvern-like Bakugan and the Guardian Bakugan of Mason Brown, initially serving as a member of the Gundalian Agents within the Twelve Orders. This Bakugan uniquely incorporates the effect of a Gate Card and uses it against an adversary freely. Avior's Battle Gear is Lashor.

Avior first appeared battling an unknown Ventus Raptorix, using the ability Long Aercules to secure victory. Later, facing Jake Vallory's Subterra Coredem, Avior won the first round through abilities like Offering Armor and Bolting Chain, then survived an attack with Battle Howling to claim the second round. In a rematch, Coredem eventually defeated Avior using Rock Hammer's Battle Gear ability.

Avior participated in several tag-team battles alongside other Gundalian Agents. Alongside Rubanoid, Avior defeated Venoclaw and Buz Hornix using Bolting Chain. Later, paired with Venoclaw against Helix Dragonoid and Hawktor, Avior mocked the opponents and utilized Lashor's Battle Gear ability to damage them before being defeated by Drago's Galactic Dragon attack. In another tag battle with Strikeflier against Akwimos and Coredem, Avior was temporarily successful using Lashor but was frozen and defeated by the ability Elemental Blue.

A significant aspect of Avior's character is a demonstrated loyalty to Mason Brown. During the events surrounding the Sacred Orb, Avior saved Mason from falling amidst an energy surge, and both were subsequently sent between dimensions. They were later found by Dan and Drago with Dragonoid Colossus and returned to Neathia, leading to Avior and Mason joining the Battle Brawlers. Avior expressed a willingness to follow Mason regardless of his decisions.

As part of the Battle Brawlers, Avior participated in various missions. This included disrupting a battle between Lumagrowl and Aranaut by destroying waves of Impalaton Mobile Assaults and defeating additional Impalatons alongside Sabator. Avior also raced with Aranaut and Sabator to a Gundalian ship hangar, battling Krakix to ensure an escape back to Neathia. Avior participated in the final battle against Phantom Dharak and other Gundalian forces but was ultimately defeated by Dharak. Following the defeat of Emperor Barodius and Phantom Dharak, Avior and Mason returned to Gundalia.

Avior made a subsequent appearance in a later season, shown in an image defending Gundalia from Chaos Bakugan.

Avior's known abilities include Long Aercules, which transfers 400 Gs from an opponent; Offering Armor, which nullifies an opponent's ability and adds 300 Gs; Bolting Chain, which subtracts 300 Gs from each opponent; Luft Howling, which nullifies an opponent's Gate Card; Battle Howling, which nullifies an opponent's ability and prevents further ability activation; and Ifrit Cannon, which subtracts 300 Gs from an opponent.

In the physical game, Avior's G-Power varies by attribute and version. Pyrus versions range from 630 to 770 Gs, D2 Pyrus has 660 Gs with a hidden 90 Gs, Ventus versions have 600 or 870 Gs plus hidden 30 Gs, Subterra versions range from 620 to 780 Gs, Haos D2 has 760 or 780 Gs plus hidden 90 Gs, Aquos has 740 Gs, and Darkus has 790 or 800 plus 80 Gs.

A notable trivia point is that Avior is female in the Japanese version, making this version the only female Bakugan in the season and the only female Subterra Bakugan in the entire series. In that version, the character is named Avia and frequently complains about an old, weakening body, even going into a coughing fit during one event. The English dub's pronunciation of the name changed from "aah-vee-or" to "ay-vee-or" partway through the series, though the original pronunciation was retained in the Bulgarian dub. Avior is also noted as the only talking Subterra Bakugan with wings and one of the few non-humanoid Subterra Guardian Bakugan. It was shown to be uncomfortable with running, likely due to its short legs and bulky body. When extending its neck and tail, Avior bears a resemblance to a Brachiosaur.
