Description
Kakeru Jūōin, heir to the Juuouin conglomerate, was born Kazuo Juuouin – a name meaning "first son" that signified his family role. He adopted "Kakeru" (meaning "to soar") to forge an identity separate from corporate obligations. Standing 170cm tall with orange hair and yellowish-orange eyes, he typically wears rimless glasses and a distinctive red vest with golden linings over his school uniform.

Raised in Tokyo, Kakeru experienced Juuouin Holdings' inner workings early, witnessing business corruption and betrayal that eroded his trust and made him doubt genuine love. Seeking proof of love, he enrolled at Edel Rose Academy under the guise of pursuing popularity with girls. He projects a charmingly flirtatious, playful persona, masking deep insecurities and an underlying serious, diligent nature. Balancing his role as Senior Managing Director assisting his father with academic duties leaves him averaging only 2–3 hours of sleep nightly on weekdays.

Prism Shows became Kakeru's avenue for personal exploration. He developed the Prism System and Prism Watches for Edel Rose, leveraging his company's resources. However, his unauthorized collaboration with the Itsutomo Group to enhance the system resulted in disciplinary exile to Juuouin Holdings' Madagascar branch. There, he shared truths with locals about the company's corruption and his desire to become a more principled heir through Prism Show performances, solidifying his commitment to ethical corporate influence.

Beneath his charismatic exterior, Kakeru is a broad-spectrum anime otaku, collecting action figures. He shops for them with Hiro Hayami, hiding this hobby from peers like Shin to protect his image. He also admires the female Prism Stars of Rainbow Live, changing his ringtone to their songs to match his moods. His Prism Show performances feature "Cyalume Change," a technique transforming his outfit mid-routine into a neon rainbow design. His signature song, "Orange Flamingo," incorporates two Prism Jumps—"Kakerunomics Fund" and "One Night Heaven"—earning him 8780 karats during the Prism 1 Grand Prix.

Kakeru's internal conflict between corporate duties and personal authenticity drives his growth. He initially presents Prism Shows as a tool for popularity but gradually embraces them as a genuine passion and a means to reconnect with others. His journey culminates in joining Edel Rose 7 Stars (later Septentrion), where group performances reinforce his belief in collective support and shared purpose.
