Description
Elk, a Byuman resident of Freyjagard’s Elm Village, displays distinctive animal traits: fluffy fox-like ears, a tail, and prominent pointed teeth that flash during intense moments. His ochre or dark brown hair falls to his neck, framing vivid green eyes. He typically wears a light shirt beneath a green vest, paired with long brown gloves, blue pants, and black boots.

As Elm Village's treasurer and son of Winona, Elk manages communal finances with unwavering commitment to truth and transparency. He delivers blunt fiscal assessments even when unpopular, fueled by deep disdain for noble corruption and the exploitation of commoners. This drive compels him to expose injustices, regardless of consequences.

Despite his brusque exterior, Elk shows heartfelt compassion—evident in his genuine joy when Roo escapes slavery. Under Masato Sanada’s mentorship, he rapidly adapts economic strategies, mastering profit tactics to bolster the village’s autonomy. Witnessing Tsukasa Mikogami’s defiance against the Freyjagard Empire solidifies his resolve to challenge oppressive systems.

Elk fiercely protects his family: Winona, his biological mother, and Lyrule, his adopted elven sister rescued by Winona. He resents nobles targeting Lyrule for her heritage. Winona suspects Elk harbors unconfirmed romantic feelings toward Shinobu Sarutobi, one of the seven prodigies.
