Description
Tita Russell, granddaughter of prominent orbal scientist Albert Russell (one of Dr. Epstein's disciples), was born in 1190 and raised in Zeiss, Liberl. Her parents, Dan and Erika Russell, were often absent due to research, leading Tita to live with her grandfather, who imparted much of her mechanical knowledge. From a young age, she developed a deep fascination with machinery and orbal technology, frequently becoming so engrossed in tinkering she lost awareness of her surroundings.

At age twelve during an orbal light repair in Kaldia Cave, Tita met Estelle and Joshua Bright, quickly forging a close bond and viewing them as older siblings. She joined their efforts to rescue her kidnapped grandfather during the Black Orbment investigation. This mission brought her first encounter with Agate Crosner, who initially saw her as a liability. Defying his warnings, she followed the group to Carnelia Tower, where Agate took a bullet meant for her, resulting in poisoning. Nursing him back to health, Tita learned his harshness stemmed from seeing her as a reminder of his deceased younger sister, deepening their relationship over time.

Tita participated in resolving the Liberl Kingdom's coup d'état and the subsequent Orbal Shutdown incident. Her technical skills proved valuable, collaborating with the Zeiss Central Factory and Bracer Guild. After these events, her parents returned to Liberl, inspiring her to pursue her own research path. She began learning cooking from her father and faced occasional tension between her mother and Agate.

Four years after the Orbal Shutdown incident, learning of emerging threats in the Erebonian Empire from Prince Olivert, Tita enrolled as an exchange student at Thors Military Academy's Branch Campus in 1206 at age sixteen despite opposition from her mother and Agate. She joined Class IX: Military Finance, studying under Towa Herschel and strict orbal technology expert Professor G. Schmidt. Her primary motivations included firsthand study of Panzer Soldats and combat shells, alongside honoring promises to important people.

At Thors, Tita spearheaded the development of the bipedal Orbal Gear III, a project initiated by the Zeiss Central Factory. This achievement earned Professor Schmidt's rare approval, designating her his fourth disciple. She later deployed the Orbal Gear III during the Empire's "Great Twilight" conflict, supporting both old and new Class VII on the front lines, her technical expertise and calm judgment instrumental in resolving the crisis. Afterwards, she returned to the Branch Campus and collaborated with the Reinford Company and Epstein Foundation to develop the next-generation Orbal Gear, with Agate's full support.

Tita's appearance evolved from childhood attire—a red beret, goggles, red overalls, and an orbal cannon—to the Thors Military Academy uniform in her teens. She retained her trademark goggles around her neck and wore accessories gifted by Estelle and Joshua. Personality-wise, she remained cheerful, earnest, and innocent, often displaying childlike emotional reactions despite her technical brilliance. Her relationships with Estelle, Joshua, and Agate continued central to her life, her bond with Agate gradually evolving into one of mutual reliance and unspoken understanding.
