Its native Tripuran lifeforms had vanished, leaving behind automated factories and infrastructure. The Maximals repurposed these systems, harnessing a collapsed singularity within the planet's moon to generate massive energon production via gravitational tides. As an Autobot energy production specialist, Reverse Convoy led scientific expeditions on Vehicon and maintained a black hole link system for unspecified objectives.
During temporal displacement triggered by transwarp energy, the Decepticon leader Megatron intercepted Reverse Convoy after he was critically wounded by the multiversal threat Grand Scourge, who sought the Autobot's Energon Matrix. Megatron exploited the black hole connection to possess Reverse Convoy's near-lifeless body, an act that simultaneously saved Reverse Convoy from fatal injuries. This possession enabled Megatron's resurgence as "Rebirth Megatron."
Arriving on Earth amid the Solitarium conflict, Megatron masqueraded as Reverse Convoy. He gained the trust of Optimus Prime and the allied Autobots, then battling Beast Megatron.
