OVA
Description
**Edward Adams**, alias **Cyborg 0014**, leads the "High-Teen Number" cyborgs engineered by his father, **Dr. Adams Teufel**. His tall, slender build features sharp facial contours, dark red hair arranged in symmetrical spikes, and intense green eyes. He dons a black combat uniform with red trimming, silver oval chest buttons, padded shoulders, knee-high boots accented in red, and a signature long white scarf. For covert operations, he adopts civilian disguise—a white jacket, black shirt, and white jeans—with his uniform hidden beneath for rapid deployment.
Before his cybernetic transformation, Edward graduated in bionics and assisted Dr. Adams in the lab. A devastating accident left him mutilated and near death, while his father lost an eye. To preserve Edward’s life, Dr. Adams converted him into the prototype High-Teen cyborg, designated 0014.
His cybernetics integrate an internal accelerator granting extreme super-speed, creating a teleportation-like effect during motion; his uniform’s red seams glow when activated. Coupled with a self-repair system, these augmentations provide near-limitless combat stamina. Edward’s fighting style relies on relentless aggression, exploiting speed to dominate foes without permitting retaliation.
Prideful, arrogant, and hot-headed, Edward openly scorns the original 00 cyborgs while displaying fierce loyalty to his father. He visibly unravels upon learning of Dr. Adams’ murder. Operating primarily with teammates **Cain (0016)** and **Abel (0017)**, he executes missions with ruthless efficiency.
In the OVA narrative, Edward spearheads the High-Teen Numbers’ incursion into Japan to confront the 00 cyborgs. Initial skirmishes gather combat data before a full assault on Dr. Adams’ base. Discovering his father was killed by the demon-possessed **Seth (0018)**, Edward attacks the fused entity **Azazel**. A psychic shockwave disables the High-Teen Numbers’ self-repair during this clash. Azazel finishes Edward by psychically hurling him and striking him with a colossal lightning bolt. Unable to regenerate, Edward perishes in agony.
Supplementary notes highlight unresolved surname discrepancies—Edward uses "Adams" while his father is "Adams Teufel"—without canonical explanation. His design draws inspiration from **Rufu** (*Genma Wars: Eve of Mythology*). Edward’s story arc concludes within the OVA, absent from other *Cyborg 009* or *Devilman* media.
