This act forged his enduring vendetta against Drago's bloodline. Freed by the enigmatic Wiseman, Betadron and the Nonets pledged allegiance in exchange for revenge. He relentlessly hunted Drago, dismissing other opponents with declarations like, "Let my brothers deal with these fools, I only care about Drago!" His aerial combat mastery relied on perfected wings for swift flight and evasion, wielding abilities such as Night Vizaler for pursuit, Black Burn to ensnare foes, and Orion Shield or Dark Stream to negate enemy powers. He often fused with Nonets Kodokor and Mutabrid, forming the formidable Gliderak. Enhanced by the stolen Bakugan Battle Suit Combustoid, Betadron gained destructive power. Despite initial victories over Drago and the Battle Brawlers, repeated defeats sparked volatile arguments with Wiseman and friction within the Nonet, exposing his temper when challenged about strength or leadership. Learning Wiseman's true goal to sever human-Bakugan bonds, Betadron grew suspicious, questioning Wiseman's identity and motives. This distrust culminated when Wiseman betrayed the Nonets, trapping them in a cave leading back to the Doom Dimension. Escaping only to witness most Nonets slain by the rampaging Mechtogan Coredegon, Betadron allied with Gunz Lazar. In a pivotal turn, Betadron joined former enemies Dan Kuso and Drago against the greater menace of Mechtavius Destroyer. Journeying to the Doom Dimension for a final confrontation with Drago, he was defeated but chose to side with the Battle Brawlers. His arc concluded in self-sacrifice within the Current of Time; Betadron and Worton remained to open a temporal gateway, ensuring the Brawlers' escape while sealing their own fate.
