Robert Tinkler, also known as Rob Tinkler, is a Canadian voice actor with a career spanning several decades in animation and anime dubbing. He graduated from the Theatre program at Ryerson University in Toronto, where he met future comedy collaborators. His early career included live-action sketch comedy and community theatre before he transitioned into voice-over work in the mid-1990s.

Tinkler has an extensive filmography in anime, often providing voices for English dubs of popular series. In the Medabots franchise, he voiced multiple characters, including Spyke and Seaslug, as well as the character Redrun in Medarot Damashii. He is particularly well-known for his long-running role as the main protagonist Gingka Hagane in the Beyblade: Metal Saga, which spanned four series: Metal Fusion, Metal Masters, Metal Fury, and Shogun Steel. His other Beyblade credits include Brooklyn in Beyblade G-Revolution. He also voiced the lead character Hanamichi Sakuragi in the Ocean Group dub of Slam Dunk and Crimson Rubeus in the DIC Entertainment dub of Sailor Moon R.

The Bakugan franchise features a significant portion of Tinkler's voice work. In Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, he voiced Helios and Lync Volan. He continued with the series in Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge, providing the voices for several characters, including the antagonist Wiseman, as well as the Bakugan creatures Betadron, Tremblar, and Balista. His work on the franchise extended to later iterations, such as voicing Batrix in Bakugan: Armored Alliance and Tiko in Bakugan: Battle Planet.

In addition to his anime roles, Tinkler is a prolific voice actor in Western animation. He is known for playing Delete in the long-running PBS Kids series Cyberchase, a role for which he was part of the team that won an Outstanding New Approaches Daytime Children's award at the 36th Daytime Emmy Awards. Other notable roles include Max in The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, the title character in Pelswick, Howie in Almost Naked Animals, and Buddy in The Nut Job films. Since 2019, he has been the voice of the beloved character Woodstock in various Peanuts projects, including The Snoopy Show and Snoopy in Space.

Beyond acting, Tinkler has worked as a writer and creative consultant on animated series such as Almost Naked Animals and Wayside. He has also been involved in producing family-oriented podcasts through his production company.
