TV-Series
Description
Ellie is a centuries-old vampire with the permanent physical appearance of a young child, turned at that age. This condition causes her significant distress over her stature and deep sensitivity about her childish size, leading to A-Cup Angst; she resents being treated as a child. A long-time acquaintance of Sophie Twilight, Ellie is actually older despite her youthful look.
After sleeping over 100 years in America, she awakens in the modern era and moves near Sophie. Initially convinced vampires and humans cannot be friends, interaction with Akari Amano shifts her perspective, leading Ellie to accept coexistence and form human friendships. Adjusting to the modern world proves difficult; unfamiliar with contemporary technology and customs, she requires help with tasks like applying makeup due to her inability to see reflections.
Ellie exhibits a flamboyant and occasionally arrogant personality. She favors stylish clothing and indulges in bathing, sometimes comically using blood for cosmetic purposes – a trait hinting at inspiration from Elizabeth Báthory. She selectively drinks blood, curating donors based on attributes like hair color, skin tone, or personality to suit her mood.
Her first encounters with Hinata Natsuki spark conflict, as each inadvertently provokes the other's insecurities about physical appearance. Their relationship shifts dramatically after Ellie saves Hinata from a fall, fostering mutual understanding. Ellie develops romantic feelings for Hinata, uniquely displaying blushing or tsundere-like reactions around her, such as showing hearts when Hinata wears a dress or gifts her a Christmas teddy bear. This contrasts with her typically forward and seductive demeanor towards other girls. Her interest in yuri manga further indicates attraction to feminine relationships.
Over time, Ellie integrates into the social circle, participating in group activities like summer festivals, mall visits, Halloween parties, and New Year celebrations, demonstrating her gradual embrace of human companionship and modern life.
