Curtis Suzuki, alias "Magic," is a first-year student at Awagoe Academy and serves as the baritone vocalist in Haruo Hibiki's boys' choir. His Nigerian father and partially Japanese mother contribute to his Afro-descent features, including dark skin and a well-proportioned muscular build. He wears his dark, curly dreadlocks long, typically tied back to cascade down the right side of his face, and has distinctive golden hazel eyes. Curtis adheres strictly to the Awagoe Academy uniform. Personality-wise, he operates through logic and intelligence, favoring reasoned arguments. While fundamentally straightforward, he maintains a reserved distance from most peers. An exception is his collaboration with Tomo Hakase, known as "Doctor" or "Hakase," involving joint social media activities. Despite his general detachment, Curtis demonstrates social capability and a tendency to evaluate relationships meticulously. His primary involvement centers on Hibiki's choir initiative, which aims to compete in the national singing contest.
