Kakeru Sennokura acts as a doting patron to the protagonist, Amane Todoroki. She is a popular author. Kakeru was once a wielder of ISH (Incomprehensible Skill of Human-beings), possessing supernatural abilities, but relinquished these powers and can no longer use them. She is assisted constantly by Kasuka Mochizumi, an aspiring author who remains at Kakeru's side professionally.
