Description
Ackman, a 200-year-old demon child, awakens from a 50-year slumber to resume his parents’ mandate: slaughter humans and trade their souls to the Dark Lord for profit. His sister Medusa outfits him with modern attire and a sword, displacing his archaic trident, while his crimson bat-winged companion, Goldon, stores harvested souls in a jar.
Though bound to his infernal mission, Ackman paradoxically displays timidness around human girls and indulges in ordinary pastimes—driving cars, playing Super Famicom games, and delivering souls to the Dark Lord’s palace. Driven by greed, he weds the affluent devil Majo after vanquishing her ex-lover, Dedevil, securing her fortune.
His relentless clashes with Tenshi, a cherub-esque angel, fuel ongoing strife. Tenshi’s bungled efforts to thwart him—including a misguided missile strike that annihilates a school bus—lead to civilian deaths. Following repeated defeats and Tenshi’s arrests, the angel enlists assassins Michel Yamada and Josephine Matsumoto, both overpowered by Ackman.
Temporarily allying with two Martians to exterminate humanity, Ackman turns on them after their betrayal, eliminating his former partners. His exploits extend to multiversal tournaments, including a cameo in the Other World Tournament witnessed by Goku and Pikkon.
Ackman’s design echoes Future Trunks, blending modern garb with a blade. Spin-offs like *Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission* feature him in combat tournaments, while video games depict soul-harvesting quests, platforming trials, and dynamic combat using bombs and swords, with mechanics evolving between titles.
Media portrayals consistently frame him as a mischievous, battle-skilled entity fixated on transactional gain, devoid of moral evolution or introspection.
