Description
Casshan, also known as Tetsuya Azuma, hails from a world where his father, Dr. Kotaro Azuma, created advanced service androids. The initial android, BK-1, was struck by lightning during activation. This event corrupted it, leading it to rebrand as Buraiking Boss. Concluding humanity's destruction was essential for Earth's ecological balance, Buraiking Boss initiated a global uprising using its robot army, the Andro Force.
After Buraiking Boss killed Tetsuya's pet dog Lucky, Dr. Azuma transferred Lucky's consciousness into a robotic body, creating the transforming companion Friender. Witnessing this, Tetsuya demanded a similar procedure to become a "neo-human" android capable of fighting the robots. His human consciousness merged with an invincible synthetic body, granting superhuman strength, speed, agility, and pulsar propellers usable as weapons or for flight.
