Description
Emily Sevensheep is a beast-girl cadet training as a mage knight at the magical academy in the city-state of Ariadne. She serves as class president of Class 3-C and ranks among the academy's most powerful students. Emily projects an air of superiority, looking down on those she considers dunces or peasants, initially targeting Yue Ayase and Collette Farandole with an attitude reminiscent of Ayaka Yukihiro.
She possesses a fervent admiration for the legendary mage Nagi Springfield, holding fanclub member number 78. Emily believes Negi Springfield's older appearance represents Nagi's reincarnation, a conviction instilled by her equally devoted mother. This fandom drives her actions, including competing for a chance to attend tournament finals in Ostia and potentially meet him.
During a competition against Yue and Collette, Emily and her partner Beatrix Monroe take a dangerous shortcut to gain an advantage. They encounter a griffin-dragon, leading to a life-threatening situation resolved only through cooperation with Yue and Collette. Yue's unexpected use of a Pactio artifact during this battle surprises Emily. After their joint victory, Emily corrects classmates assuming she defeated the monster alone and relinquishes her Ostia opportunity. The headmistress subsequently grants permission for all four participants to attend.
In Ostia, Emily's team encounters Negi Springfield, who escapes after knocking out Yue. Though Yue recovers, Emily vows revenge against Negi. She later becomes aware of his true identity during the tournament.
Emily faces significant peril defending Yue during the attack on the Royal Palace at New Ostia. She is erased from existence by the "Code of the Lifemaker," later clarified as transportation to Cosmo Entelecheia. She is eventually revived by Asuna Kagurazaka using the Great Grandmaster Key, alongside others affected.
Following these events, Emily appears after the Earth-Mars fusion. She is seen shopping with Beatrix and Collette in the newly formed world, where they meet Yue and express approval of the changed world.
Her initial rivalry with Yue evolves significantly after witnessing Yue's strategic abilities during the griffin-dragon battle. Emily develops a grudging respect, acknowledging Yue's competence as a magic user capable of matching or exceeding her own skills, marking a shift from her earlier dismissive attitude.
