Description
Miho, an eleven-year-old aspiring fashion designer, endures a constrained life under her aunt’s guardianship while her father is absent. Her aunt, who owns a dress shop, forces her into endless chores and scorns her creative ambitions. While her two older cousins ridicule her dreams, the youngest, Shuri, quietly supports her, requesting a secret design for the town’s Disco Queen contest. Barred from participating due to her age, Miho channels her passion into crafting a dress for Shuri. When her aunt discovers and shreds the garment, Miho’s hope crumbles—until two fairies descend to intervene. They transform her into Fashion Lala, a sixteen-year-old blonde idol blessed with fleeting magic to materialize her designs. Disguised as Lala, she dazzles at the contest in her creations, her radiant performance foiling the mayor’s son’s plot to sabotage the event. Her luminous presence, embodying an ethereal “goddess of dreams,” pierces the town’s corruption with childlike idealism.

The night’s magic fades by dawn, but its ripple effects endure: her father returns, freeing her from her aunt’s grip, while fractured bonds in the community begin to mend. Though temporary, Miho’s transformation proves creativity and innocence can transcend adversity, leaving quiet echoes of reconciliation in their wake.
