Description
Rajak Kertia is a pure-blood Noble and former leader of the Kertia Clan, renowned for mastery in assassination and stealth. He is the eldest son of Ragar Kertia and older brother of Rael Kertia, inheriting clan leadership following his father's entry into eternal sleep. Physically, he possesses blond hair styled half-slicked back with the left side loose, framing his face, and typically covers the lower half. Like all pure-blood Nobles, his eyes are red and he possesses a tall, imposing stature, rarely smiling though noted for a striking appearance when he does.

His personality blends unwavering loyalty, dignity, and a powerful sense of duty. He follows orders from the Lord of Lukedonia without question and holds deep respect for fellow clan leaders. Rajak rigorously enforces clan honor, exemplified when he slashed himself with his soul weapon, Kartas, to atone for Rael's dishonorable sneak attack. Despite his stern demeanor, he displays moments of gullibility, such as accepting menial tasks like dishwashing for human allies or misinterpreting Rael's brooding as vigilant guard duty. His devotion to Rael is profound; he offers to relinquish his clan leadership if Rael desires it.

Rajak's background centers on inheriting Kartas, a soul weapon his father intentionally split to share with Rael, leaving Rajak with an incomplete version. Aware of this limitation from the start, he dedicated himself to rigorous training to compensate, striving through sheer willpower and skill to match clan leaders wielding complete soul weapons. This determination earned recognition from figures like Frankenstein and the Union Elder Gradeus.

His story depicts an evolution from rigid enforcer to strategic ally. Early missions include retrieving Seira J. Loyard from the human world and confronting Frankenstein and Cadis Etrama Di Raizel; he battles Frankenstein, gaining mutual respect after their clash is interrupted. He later allies with Frankenstein against Union Elders, coordinating surprise attacks and demonstrating combat prowess. Dedicated to self-improvement, he trains in Frankenstein's facilities, declining Rael's offer to reunite Kartas, insisting on surpassing his limits through effort—a resolve commended by Raizel.

Rajak participates in critical conflicts: a prolonged duel with the werewolf warrior Kentas on Roctis’s Island and the defense of Lukedonia against traitor Nobles and werewolves. In his final act, he sacrifices himself to warn Lukedonia of an impending invasion. Surrounded by enemies who acknowledge his unmatched speed, he fights until his body deteriorates, fulfilling his wish to die for Lukedonia. His death becomes a catalyst for the Nobles’ war against the werewolves.

His abilities reflect his clan's stealth specialization. As the fastest Noble, he moves at hypersonic speeds, evading point-blank laser fire and outpacing elite werewolves. Kartas, his twin-dagger soul weapon, allows him to erase his aura and presence, enhancing stealth. Techniques include creating physical doppelgänger illusions for confusion, camouflage via environmental blending, and generating a shadow cloak for defense and mobility. He is also an expert tracker, deciphering clan-specific codes and trailing targets across vast distances.
