Description
Ki-Kîma is a gregarious waterkin merchant in Vision, first encountering protagonist Wataru at a baquas grove. Despite leaving school young, his extensive world knowledge makes him Wataru's valuable guide. He firmly believes Travelers bring fortune, rooted in family lore: his grandfather gained wealth trading mining stocks after aiding a Traveler seeking the Goddess of Fate decades prior. Ki-Kîma takes pride in his darbaba carrier, Turbo, and bears a notable resemblance to Wataru’s Uncle Lou, suggesting Lou’s reflection in Vision.
In *Brave Story: New Traveler*, Ki-Kîma is best friends with fellow waterkin Sogreth. He joins Traveler Tatsuya and Yuno to rescue Sogreth’s son Minos from Seaside Cave, frustrated Sogreth attempted it alone. After defeating the cave monster and saving Minos, Ki-Kîma departs for a prior delivery. He later intervenes when Sogreth and Yuno face false bandit accusations at Bog-Sasaya Border, volunteering for arrest in solidarity with their shared waterkin and kitkin heritage. The charges collapse when knights identify real bandits by their Firewyrm rings. Ki-Kîma remains to monitor the border after Wataru aids in capturing the bandits.
He wields an axe in combat and maintains far-reaching connections with Vision’s influential figures. Postgame, he joins as a recruitable guest character at high level, equipped with enhanced gear and abilities.
His darbaba carrier Turbo nearly struck Yuno during an incident in Sakawa. The name "Keema" is common among waterkin, necessitating use of his middle name "Kee" for distinction.
