Takurō Senba is a young man who first meets Dejiko on a snowy Christmas Eve, witnessing her slip and drop a cake she had bought. He offers his own cake to her in exchange, sparking their initial connection. This encounter begins their relationship.

He is portrayed as an ordinary person without supernatural elements, fitting the special's realistic setting. Over the subsequent year, Takurō and Dejiko meet periodically, their deepening romantic bond forming the story's core. Their relationship encounters difficulty when a coworker spots Takurō with another woman, mistakenly believing them to be a couple. This woman proves to be his sister, Aiko, creating a misunderstanding. Distressed by this but unwilling to confront Takurō directly, Dejiko creates distance.

Poor communication and Dejiko's hesitation escalate the conflict, nearly causing a breakup. They ultimately reconcile after clarifying Aiko's identity. Despite resolving this issue, their relationship faces a new challenge when Dejiko receives a letter requiring her return to her distant hometown. Preparing to move away leads to a bittersweet ending where they commit to continuing their relationship despite the physical separation.

Takurō Senba appears solely within the *Winter Garden* special and is not featured or referenced in other *Di Gi Charat* media, including the original series, *Nyo!*, *Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat*, or the 2022 sequel *Reiwa no Di Gi Charat*. His story exists separately from the franchise's main continuity.
