Description
Izana Kurokawa possesses light brown skin, distinctive white hair styled in a center-parted undercut during his youth that grows wavy later, and striking purple eyes. This half-Filipino, half-Japanese individual stands approximately 165 cm tall, frequently adorned in a red Tenjiku tailcoat uniform and hanafuda-pattern earrings.

Born on August 30, 1987, Izana was raised alongside Emma Sano by Karen Kurokawa. Karen later disclosed he resulted from her ex-husband's affair, severing his biological connection to the Sano family. Sent to an orphanage while Emma stayed, this abandonment fostered profound loneliness and bitterness within him, despite maintaining correspondence with Shinichiro Sano, whom he deeply admired.

Childhood kindness gave way to isolation. At age twelve, a brutal biker gang attack led to his recovery and subsequent revenge: he crippled the attackers and psychologically tortured their leader into suicide. This act resulted in juvenile detention. There, he founded the S-62 Generation—a delinquent group born 1987–1988—by defeating every member and establishing himself as their undisputed leader, viewing them solely as disposable tools.

Izana later ascended as the 8th leader of the Black Dragons, transforming it into a violent criminal syndicate engaged in robbery and drug trafficking. Learning Shinichiro intended Mikey as heir intensified his jealousy. Shinichiro's death plunged him into despair and homelessness until Kisaki Tetta recruited him to form Yokohama Tenjiku. As Tenjiku's boss, Izana aimed to destroy Mikey and the Tokyo Manji Gang, leveraging Kisaki's manipulations and dismissing his subordinates' lives.

He wielded extraordinary combat prowess marked by "undefeatable senses," anticipating opponents' moves. His initial confrontation with Mikey was near-equal, showcasing powerful kicks and relentless tactics. Authority stemmed purely from instilled fear.

Despite his cruelty, Izana maintained a complex bond with Kakucho, whom he met in the orphanage. He verbally demeaned Kakucho yet internally relied on him as a confidant. During Tenjiku's clash with Toman, Izana shielded Kakucho from Kisaki's gunfire, sustaining fatal wounds. In his final moments, he confessed Kakucho was his only true companion and expressed regret to Mikey, acknowledging his own irredeemable nature.

In an alternate timeline shaped by Takemichi's actions, Izana survived the Kanto Incident. He joined the Tokyo Manji Gang as Eighth Division Captain and reformed Tenjiku into a global nonprofit aiding orphans, fulfilling his childhood promise to create a sanctuary for the displaced.
