He later reconnected with Gene during production of the film "Meister," when Gene confronted a funding gap for additional shooting. Despite the bank board's initial skepticism over the project's risks, Alan devised a plan to secure the financing. He arranged a meeting with investors and covertly live-streamed it globally. This engineered public confession applied pressure by broadcasting the investors' real-time reactions to the funding plea, ultimately compelling them to approve the loan.

Alan's dissatisfaction with his banking career fueled his renewed belief in supporting creative endeavors, motivating this unconventional approach. His actions directly enabled the completion and subsequent success of "Meister."
