Ryuichi Kijima is a Japanese voice actor born on March 29, 1985, in Sapporo, Hokkaido. He is affiliated with the talent agency Mausu Promotion. His journey to becoming a voice actor began with a childhood passion for singing and performing, as well as a love for anime and Western films, particularly the Gundam series. He pursued this interest by enrolling in the Sapporo Manga, Anime, & Voice Actor Vocational School. After graduating, he worked in a factory for a year to save money before moving to Tokyo. His entry into the industry was facilitated by a former colleague who recommended him to Mausu Promotion, and he began his professional career in 2010 after training at their center, receiving guidance from veteran voice actor Akio Ōtsuka.
