Description
A family drives home from a maternity hospital, filled with hope as they bring their newborn daughter, Orine, into their lives. This joy is shattered by a sudden, tragic accident that kills both parents, leaving the infant orphaned. Nineteen years later, a young woman named Orine is fleeing from the police, a fugitive due to an unspecified incident. As she runs, she is contacted by Yuri Aoshima, a cold and calculating agent working for a shadowy organization. Yuri offers Orine a deal: in exchange for her freedom and safe passage, Orine must travel to an experimental, unmanned space station currently orbiting Earth and carry out a mission to shut it down.

With few options left, Orine agrees and is sent into space. Upon arriving at the station, she makes a shocking discovery; it is not empty. Waiting for her is her mother, Satomi, who appears to be no older than in her twenties, virtually unchanged in the two decades since her death. Orine is bewildered, but Satomi, along with an unorthodox scientist known only as Sensei, explains the impossible truth. After the accident, Satomi was preserved through cryonics and has been resurrected, her mind and body existing once again in the present.

As Yuri demands Orine plant a shut-down device to disable the station, Orine hesitates. Torn between her orders and the chance to know the mother she lost, she begins to secretly investigate the station's mysteries. While spending time with Satomi, mother and daughter tentatively try to forge a connection and make up for their lost years. The idyllic reunion is shadowed by deepening intrigue. Orine must uncover Yuri’s true aim for destroying the station, the full nature of Satomi’s resurrection, and Sensei’s role in the secretive project. As she gets closer to the truth, Orine faces an impossible choice: follow her orders to destroy the station and the mother she has just found, or defy Yuri and fight to save them both.
