Description
Dogiragon Sword is a central character and the embodiment of a powerful dragon spirit within the creature realm. Originally known as Evol Dogiragon, he was infected by an Invader virus but resisted its control, emerging as a Revolutionary under the name Dogiragon, Flaming Revolution. Before being discovered by his primary partner, Katta, Dogiragon's soul was held in chains. Upon Katta retrieving his card and calling out to him during a duel, Dogiragon broke free and demonstrated his power.
Throughout the events of Duel Masters Versus Revolution and Versus Revolution Final, Dogiragon proves to be one of the most formidable dragon spirits. Katta places immense trust in him, frequently relying on Dogiragon as his key creature in duels. His personality reflects bravery and a sense of chivalry, befitting his role as the strongest leader of the Hamukatsu Dan, a group defined by its love of courage and friendship. Even in card form, Dogiragon displays considerable emotion, resisting absorption by the villainous Dokindam X and shedding tears when his comrade Hamukatsu sacrifices his power for the greater good.
Dogiragons primary motivation is to stand against the Forbidden forces threatening his world, especially Dokindam X and later the ultimate entity Dormageddon X, Forbidden Armageddon. He forms the Hamukatsu Dan alongside other creatures and serves as its團長 (leader or captain). His key relationships are central to his story. His bond with Katta is foundational, built on mutual trust and reliance in battle. He is also deeply connected to his teammates, particularly Hamukatsu, whose ultimate sacrifice profoundly affects Dogiragon.

After being captured and nearly fed to Dokindam X, he is rescued by Katta and then transformed by a blue armor card into Dogiragon Buster, Blue Leader, gaining new power and the title of Blue Leader. Later, after passing trials, he receives power from three statues, allowing him to transform into Final Dogiragolden. In the final battle against Dormageddon X, Dogiragon is severely wounded. As a last resort, Hamukatsu turns himself into a special curry bun that Dogiragon consumes, granting him immense power. This allows Dogiragon to deliver a final, devastating blow to Dormageddon X, but the price is his own life as he sacrifices himself to protect his team.
