Description
Trey is a human minor antagonist and the younger brother of Aay, a primary rival of the Awesome Brawlers. He holds the title "Chess Champion Extraordinaire," and his chess expertise shapes his strategic Bakugan brawling style, enabling him to outmaneuver opponents and command his Bakugan partners. His appearance includes glasses, contributing to a studious demeanor.

Following the Tiko incident, regulations banned devices used to control Bakugan, restricting brawling to those capable of natural communication. This prevented Aay, who relied on such devices, from brawling. Trey inherited Aay's Ventus-aligned Bakugan, Mantonoid and Fangzor, to continue his brother's legacy. Trey is driven to surpass Aay by becoming a more formidable adversary to the Awesome Brawlers, specifically targeting Dan Kouzo. He views Dan's overconfidence as a weakness and employs psychological tactics like feigning admiration to lower Dan's guard during battles.

Trey debuts by challenging Dan while the Awesome Brawlers test the newly discovered Baku-Gear power-up. Observing the battle, Aay confirms he trained Trey specifically to defeat Dan. During their encounter, Trey lulls Dan into complacency by praising his heroic status before executing a decisive strike, demonstrating his calculated and deceptive combat approach.
