Description
Ayase Yukiya, an 18-year-old university student orphaned early, endured a solitary upbringing steeped in loneliness. He possesses blonde hair, blue eyes, and an androgynous build (160 cm, 46.2 kg), coupled with a gentle demeanor that unintentionally draws male attention—an effect he scarcely notices. His cousin Tetsuo Ishii betrayed him, auctioning him to settle gambling debts; loan shark Somuku Kanou acquired him for 120 million yen.

To clear the debt, Kanou enforced sexual servitude at 500,000 yen per encounter. This stems from Kanou's unresolved fixation on Ayase, who aided him during an injury four years earlier—an event Ayase cannot remember. Initially, Ayase displays extreme passivity and social anxiety, stifling emotions and boundaries due to abandonment fears. He excuses his cousin's betrayal as unavoidable, revealing his desperate craving for familial bonds.

Throughout his journey, Ayase gradually challenges his submissive nature, striving to become more sociable and proactive. With Kanou's approval, he works part-time in the kitchen of an okama bar owned by Kanou's childhood friend Someya Kaoruko. Despite early reluctance, his popularity surges; defending coworkers from harassment showcases his budding assertiveness.

His dynamic with Kanou shifts from trauma and disorientation toward fragile mutual affection. Though Ayase first sees himself as Kanou's property, he slowly recognizes reciprocal feelings while wrestling with guilt over same-sex intimacy. Confessions from others—like Kanou's employee Homare Kuba and family friend Takanohashi Yamato—deepen his confusion about love and self-value.

Notable traits include his motto "you can go far little by little" and habitual quirks like washing his left arm first during baths. He holds a Level 2 Kanji certification, studies Chinese, and cultivates interests in gardening, particularly tomatoes and eggplants.
