Description
Fumi Hoshiya is a young woman with brown hair and grey eyes. Her childhood aspiration to become a hairstylist stems from cutting a bullied boy's hair, an act that brought him joy and cemented her career path.

Financially burdened after her parents' divorce and her father's company bankruptcy, she supports him by sending most of her earnings, enduring periods of hardship where she sometimes cannot afford meals. Professionally, she works as an assistant at a popular salon, training rigorously under its charismatic manager, Sousuke Nanase, whom she deeply admires as a mentor. His touch triggers involuntary physical agitation and emotional sensitivity in her, blurring frustration with attraction and causing confusion.

Her competence grows through experiences like successfully handling a photoshoot substitution and earning client praise, notably from Kaname Chiba, who later requests her services specifically. This bolsters her confidence. Her relationship with Nanase grows complex; after coercive encounters, she rejects his advances during a non-consensual restroom incident, asserting boundaries and leaving—marking a shift toward self-assurance.

She later prioritizes her career over romance, refusing Nanase until achieving professional goals. Concurrently, her father's business recovery ends her financial strain. She celebrates her independence with a personal makeover using newfound savings. Her journey culminates in accepting a role as Kaname's hairstylist, prioritizing career growth before romance.
