Description
Shintarō Tokumitsu lives alone in a studio apartment after his parents moved overseas for work, receiving their financial support while maintaining independence through a part-time job at the Fancy family restaurant. His legal guardian, aunt Mari Tokumitsu, owns the apartment he rents, but her demanding career as a manga artist restricts her direct involvement in his daily life.

He possesses distinctive purple hair and eyes. His typical attire is a school uniform: a white shirt, blue tie, dark blue pants, and black belt. Casually, he favors a white hoodie.

Shintarō exhibits a kind and instinctively protective nature, especially towards friends. Unexpected actions by female acquaintances easily embarrass him, and frightening content like horror movies unsettles him. Though initially shocked by supernatural encounters, he gradually accepts these beings' differences. A minor flaw is his tendency to tell careless, makeshift lies to escape awkward situations, a habit he acknowledges. Unbeknownst to him, he naturally attracts others, particularly non-human entities—a trait he later identifies as being a "demi-human magnet."

Significant relationships shape his experiences:
* **Towa**: He discovered her sleeping on his balcony and accidentally spilled a drink on her. Initially skeptical of her claim to be an angel studying humanity, he later saved her from a predator. Cohabitation fostered romantic feelings. After two years, he confessed his love, vowed to ensure her happiness, and they shared a kiss, committing to stay together.
* **Tsumugi Tsutsumi**: A classmate harboring a childhood crush after he helped her when lost. He remains unaware of her feelings and their past connection, formally addressing her by her last name.
* **Noel Izumi**: A coworker and classmate who slapped him after he walked in on her changing. They reconciled following a heartfelt conversation about her isolated past, leading him to become her first friend.
* **Lilishka**: A vampire classmate who visits nocturnally to bite his neck ("nom-noming"). Her lack of social boundaries, like stripping in art class, causes him significant embarrassment.
* **Hisui Tsurumi**: Initially nervous around him due to limited male exposure, she bonded with him over shared literary interests. He supported her desire to attend a coeducational school.
* **Shiu**: An angel who initially despised him, attempted to turn Towa against him, and departed without fully accepting him.

Shintarō balances school, Saturday shifts starting at 10 a.m. at Fancy, and complications from his supernatural associations. Key developments include growing self-awareness about his role in these relationships and a shift from initial skepticism to embracing the unusual circumstances. The epilogue confirms his romantic relationship with Towa and continued coexistence with his diverse circle of friends.
