TV-Series
Description
Edward Chi, 34, is the president of White Pegasus Company, a corporation aggressively competing against the protagonists to collect ancient artifacts called MOParts. He cuts a distinguished figure, frequently noted for wearing a monocle that enhances his noble demeanor.

His history includes a deep, fifteen-year connection with Catherine Sue, the editor-in-chief of Monthly Moso Science. They met while working at the same scientific research facility, where Edward encountered the teenage prodigy known then as Four Tune. He admired her research into the Motarians and developed personal feelings for her, influencing his later motivations.

Throughout the series, Edward directs his twin subordinates, Perch and Noin, to obstruct the main characters' efforts to gather MOParts, driven by scientific ambition and corporate control over the Mo Continent's secrets. His role intensifies during the climax on the Mo Continent. In a critical confrontation, he attempts to shoot Jiro Tanaka but is forcefully punched by Taro Suzuki, suffering severe internal injuries and apparent death. Jiro Tanaka later revives him using healing abilities.

This near-death experience coincides with Catherine Sue revealing her intent to activate the doomsday weapon Ra Mo to eradicate humanity. Witnessing this, combined with his preexisting feelings for her, triggers a shift in Edward's allegiance. He abandons his antagonism, collaborating with Catherine and the protagonists to deactivate Ra Mo and prevent global catastrophe.

Following these events, Edward undergoes redemption. He reconciles with Catherine, and their professional partnership evolves into a personal relationship. Together, they lead White Pegasus Company into a new scientific direction. They publicly announce the discovery of the Mo Continent and four additional lost continents, positioning the company at the forefront of archaeological and anthropological research.
