Abandoned in the mountains as an infant, Rinzu was rescued and raised by the Mountain God. Under its care, she mastered the spiritual technique "Soul Channeling" through intensive training. Her martial prowess matches Jinka Yamato's, enabling her to wield combat abilities freely and effectively.

Rinzu developed an immediate romantic interest in Jinka upon their first meeting, captivated especially by his cold gaze. She refers to Tama as "Big Sister," reflecting a close, familial bond. Her personality stands out as unusual, with her fascination for Jinka's demeanor remaining consistent.

Her duties involve serving as the Mountain God's helper, assisting in tasks tied to its domain. Between the initial story arc and the next, Rinzu and the Mountain God played a key role in training Shinsuke Hyoudou. When Shinsuke and Senya attempted to escape, she interceded to stop the Mountain God from killing them, showing a protective instinct and willingness to defy authority for others' safety.

Reappearing eight years later in her late teens or early twenties, Rinzu displays greater calmness and composure. She maintains gentle interactions with the Mountain God and acts as a mediator, facilitating understanding between differing perspectives.
