Aliquis, also known as Alix, is one of three Naranja Academy students assigned by Director Clavell to create a promotional video. Renowned as the strongest trainer in his class, he partners with an evolved Meowscarada, contrasting Ohara's unevolved Fuecoco and Hohma's unevolved Quaxly, highlighting his focus on battling strength and competitive prowess.

His defining struggle is an intense rivalry with the academy's top trainer, Nemona. Frustrated by repeated defeats, Aliquis follows advice from his older brother—shown only from the back during a video call—to stop using Meowscarada after a loss, hoping this improves his chances. This decision strains his bond with Meowscarada, revealing his initial prioritization of victory over friendship. During a subsequent battle against Nemona's Paldean Tauros, he tearfully apologizes to Meowscarada, prompting its return. Despite their renewed teamwork, they lose again due to being outnumbered; Aliquis accepts this outcome with newfound resolve to keep improving.

Early on, Aliquis displays a short-tempered and arrogant demeanor. He chases Hohma after being splashed by Quaxly and lashes out at Ohara and Meowscarada following defeats, showcasing his volatility. However, his remorse after harshly blaming Meowscarada marks the start of his growth. By the series' conclusion, he collaborates constructively with Ohara and Hohma to complete their video project, demonstrating increased maturity and teamwork.

He shares a ritual with Meowscarada: eating chocolate balls filled with candy, viewing the candy's quality (good or a "Scovillain dud") as a pre-battle omen. His name, derived from Latin meaning "somebody," contrasts with Nemona's Japanese name, Nemo, meaning "nobody."
