Description
Akito Sendō, a bespectacled classmate and lifelong friend of Shun Tokinoya, shares deep bonds with Shun and their companion Nozomi Inazuki. After an accident that claimed Shun's father and left Shun's sister Mio with a disability, Akito stays actively involved in their lives. He pushes Shun to overcome trauma-induced hiatus and return to competitive gaming through a strategic wager: Shun must rejoin the esports team FOX ONE if he wins a match, aiming to alleviate financial struggles at Nozomi's family café.

Akito spearheads FOX ONE's revival by recruiting members like Ryuusei Nagamine and actress Yū Saegusa. His online gaming notoriety stems from contentious behavior that frequently forces account changes. During tournaments, he competes as "Zane"—a handle born from another character's spelling mistake during account registration.

His longstanding affection for Mio Tokinoya fuels motivations to safeguard her well-being and future, sparking friction with Shun over protective boundaries. Throughout team endeavors, Akito navigates clashes with Nozomi regarding Shun's trauma while prioritizing Mio's needs. His actions consistently reflect dual commitments: driving FOX ONE's success and nurturing personal ties, particularly concerning Mio's circumstances.
