Easlies Swordfrail, also called Izliz Swordfrail, bears epithets like "Wandering Balcony" and "Demon of the Peninsula." Her visage remains shrouded by a bovine skull mask and veil, framed by light-hued hair and a horned, pointed hat strung with vertebrae. She darksilk, dancer-inspired garments beneath crimson robes clasped by gold chains, her buxom humanoid form revealing smooth, ageless skin.
Stoic and direct, she navigates interactions with unflinching self-assurance, a reflection of her peerless necromantic skill. Though aloof from court intrigues and scornful of social pretenses, she guards her possessions—animate or inanimate—with meticulous care. This ethos defined her mentorship of Rizdilusia Redrazalf, later dubbed Corpse God, whom she purchased as a slave for his latent magical aptitude. Under her tutelage, he embraced her doctrine valuing human souls as cherished belongings to be shielded.
As the Byandy Empire’s second-ranked imperial sorcerer, she openly mocked first-ranked Arius Sabaramond VII’s political acumen, her confidence in her superior prowess thinly veiled. She tasked Corpse God with scrutinizing Arius VII’s capacity to siphon elemental magic, branding him a “first-class thief” of arcane energies—a testament to her disdain for courtly artifice and prioritization of tangible power over rank.
After the empire’s collapse, she dwelled on the Byandy Peninsula, her necromantic mastery and transcendence of mortality solidifying her demonic reputation. When Shagrua Lugrid, linked to Corpse God’s undoing, crossed her path, she crushed him in battle as retribution, later forging an unexpected alliance that saw them journeying side by side.
Her legacy endures through Corpse God, whose necromancy diverged from her methods yet bore her indelible influence. Despite her absence from formal hierarchies, her teachings and fierce protection of her claimed possessions persist. The ambiguity of her name—variously recorded as Izliz or Easlies, with her surname evolving from "Swordflail" to "Swordfrail"—remains a quirk of historical accounts, though later texts standardize "Easlies Swordfrail."
Her existence stretches across centuries, her undead nature or prolonged lifespan unconfirmed. She operates beyond mortal constraints, a figure of detached resolve and unwavering loyalty to her principles, untethered by societal chains.
