Description
Bird Kazami, sometimes localized as Robin Kazami, serves as the Beyblade X protagonist. Originally leading the undefeated Team Albatross Strikers with Suzaki and Tsuru, they dominated hometown and district tournaments. Team Albatross disbanded following a crushing defeat by Team Phalanx, compounded by the destruction of Bird's original Beyblade, Strike Hawk, during a battle with professional Blader Takumi Ishiyama. This loss resulted in abandonment by his teammates, plunging Bird into despair.
A pivotal encounter with the masked former champion, Blader X (Jaxon Cross), reignited Bird's passion for Beyblade after witnessing Blader X's genuine love for the sport. They formed Team Persona, later joined by skilled Beyblade crafter Multi Nana-iro. Acknowledging his lack of innate talent, Bird adopted a persistent "never give up" mentality and vowed to reach the pinnacle of Xenon City's X Tower.
Bird possesses high athletic prowess, receiving recruitment offers for basketball, football, and track. He also demonstrates exceptional culinary talent, particularly in sushi making; his "ultimate sushi" moved restaurant owner Taisho to tears and nearly caused former pro Blader Meiko Myoden to faint, leading to an offer to inherit Komaba Sushi which he declined. Bird excels in competitive gaming as well, defeating Quinn Manju ten consecutive times despite Quinn's high win record.
Visually, Bird has brown, messy hair styled like feathers, often held by a yellow headband. His eyes are red with distinctive yellow crystal-shaped irises. His typical attire features a red jacket over a black tank top, black pants, and red shoes with orange laces.
Following Strike Hawk's destruction, Multi crafted Incendio-series Beyblades for Bird. His primary Beyblades are:
* Scythe Incendio 4-60T (main Basic Line Bey)
* Chain Incendio 5-60HT (secondary Basic Line Bey)
* Hammer Incendio 3-70H (Unique Line Bey)
* Reaper Incendio T 4-70K (Custom Line Bey)
Bird's battle techniques center on the "Xtreme Dash," where gears on his Beyblade's Bit interact with the Xtreme Stadium's X-Celerator Rail to increase speed. Variations include "Crescent Judgment" (Scythe Incendio uppercut), "Round Judgment" (Hammer Incendio force smash), and "Dissection Judgment" (Reaper Incendio move). Other signature moves are "Chain Blast" (multi-strike barrage ending in an uppercut), "Xtreme Dash Infinite" (continuous speed boosts), "Hammer Smash" (stamina-draining angled strikes), and "Xtreme Dash Dragonic Break" (precision maneuver requiring two rail laps).
Bird's competitive record reflects his underdog status, marked by numerous early pro losses to Takumi Ishiyama, Multi Nana-iro, Jaxon Cross, Zonamos Nekoyama, and reigning champion Khrome Ryugu (Blader Y). Persevering with Team Persona, he faced further defeats against Tenka Shiroboshi and Team Zooganic members. Flashbacks show prior victories, however, such as a 3-0 win against Tsubasa Takano. Bird's journey centers on relentless improvement fueled by his rediscovered passion for Beyblade.
