Fukie is a tsukumogami, a spirit inhabiting wind instruments. He manifests as a young male humanoid with black hair and piercing yellow eyes; his perpetually sharp gaze frequently draws police scrutiny despite his innocence. He operates as one of Kyoto's three major tsukumogami within the Bureau of Traditional Music, alongside Tsumabiki and Tsuzumi.

Fukie wields flute music to manipulate perceptions, implant suggestions, and control the thoughts of humans and spirits. This power conceals supernatural disturbances from ordinary people and allows him to coordinate large groups of tsukumogami simultaneously during combat, strategically deploying controlled spirits to overwhelm opponents.

Though his appearance suggests hostility, the sharpness in his eyes stems from his natural expression, not malice, leading to repeated misunderstandings with authorities. He exhibits a reserved, pragmatic personality during missions, preferring to leverage his flute's abilities for efficient group coordination and tactics over direct physical confrontation. His operational focus remains on fulfilling objectives alongside his musical unit members.
