Yusuke Shirai is a Japanese voice actor and YouTuber born on January 18, 1986, in Saku, Nagano Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Early Wing. His decision to pursue a career in voice acting was influenced by his older brother, who had also aimed to become a voice actor. Shirai studied at the Amusement Media Academy and, shortly before graduating, was approached by his current agency, beginning his professional career in 2011.

Shirai's career is marked by a wide range of roles in television animation, anime films, and video games. He is particularly well-known for his performances in several major media franchises. One of his most prominent and recurring roles is Yamato Nikaidō in the long-running and popular IDOLiSH7 series, which includes multiple television seasons, OVAs, and animated films. He is also the voice of Ramuda Amemura in the Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- multimedia project, appearing in its various anime adaptations. Other significant franchise roles include Haruna Wakazato in The Idolmaster SideM and Masumi Usui in A3!.

Beyond these major franchises, Shirai has demonstrated his versatility across numerous series. His filmography includes roles such as Io Naruko in the Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! series, Combat Agent 6 in Combatants Will Be Dispatched!, Shūmei Sasaki in Sasaki and Miyano, Ian Stuart in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X, and Keiichirō Akasaka in Tokyo Mew Mew New. He has also lent his voice to characters in video games like Wuthering Waves, Granblue Fantasy, and The King of Fighters for Girls.

Notably, in 2019, he was a recipient of the Singing Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards as a member of the cast of Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-.
