Movie
Description
Ramuda Amemura, known by his MC name easy R, is the leader of the Shibuya Division team Fling Posse in the Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- interactive movie and the wider Hypnosis Mic project. He is a fashion designer for the brand Empty Candy and a former member of the legendary group The Dirty Dawg, and he serves as one of the main characters in the film's rap battle narrative.
In appearance, Ramuda has a youthful, almost childlike look that makes him the shortest of the main cast. He has pink-purple hair with lighter pink highlights and blue eyes, and he dresses in oversized, colorful clothing typical of Shibuya style, including a long blue hoodie, a white dress shirt with a red ribbon tie, black leather pants, and a black-and-pink belt with a heart-shaped buckle. His Hypnosis Mic resembles a child's toy microphone with pink, yellow, and blue details, and his speakers appear as spherical units wrapped like candy.
On the surface, Ramuda is cheerful, upbeat, cute, and boyish, with a flirtatious playfulness. He always carries candy and gladly shares it with people who treat him affectionately, and he addresses all women as onee-san, meaning older sister. Despite his innocent presentation, he is quick-witted and highly perceptive, fully aware of how others see him. He is also sly and manipulative, willing to use his charm to get what he wants. His sunny demeanor can shift abruptly when he is upset or provoked, at which point he drops his high-pitched voice for a deeper, more serious tone and reveals a colder, more calculating nature. He tends to avoid forming meaningful relationships even though his cuteness makes him popular.
Ramuda's past is central to his character. He is a clone whose development involved a figure named Zero, and he once operated in secret as a collaborator of the central authority known as Chuohku. When he first became aware of himself, he was lifeless and hostile, lamenting that he was only a copy and something unoriginal. This origin leaves him with a guarded and cynical edge that contrasts with his playful exterior. His motivations gradually shift as he moves toward a vision of a colorful, interesting world where each person's individuality is accepted and celebrated.
Within the story, Ramuda's history as a member of The Dirty Dawg places him at the center of long-standing rivalries. His most intense relationship is with Jakurai Jinguji of the Shinjuku Division; the two are extremely hostile toward each other, and each blames the other for the downfall of The Dirty Dawg. Within Fling Posse, his teammates are Gentaro Yumeno and Dice Arisugawa, and over time he works through significant hardships to the point where he is able to speak openly and honestly with both of them, forming the genuine bonds he once avoided.
In battle, Ramuda's rapping ability is distinct in that his verses induce hallucinations in his opponents, with varied effects that disrupt their perceptions rather than cause direct physical harm. This psychological style makes him an unpredictable and tactically dangerous opponent. Over the course of his appearances, including the interactive movie, Ramuda develops from a guarded, manipulative figure shaped by his origins as a clone into someone capable of honest connection, while still carrying the sharp intelligence and layered complexity that define him.
