Description
Fenrys is a lupine demon, sister to Fengaryl of the Infernal Four commanding the Dark Army. She initially operated in Delaveza Forest, using a human child form to deceive adventurers into escorting her, only for them to be ambushed by demons. This strategy led to her encounter with Flio. He defeated her after a battle where she exhausted her magic and reverted to human form. Following her clan's warrior traditions, she submitted to Flio as the victor, declaring herself his wife to avoid ritual suicide. Originating from the demon forces, she holds a deep-seated hatred for humans.
Fenrys possesses two primary forms: her original manifestation as a large white or silver wolf and a humanoid form with long silver hair, blue eyes, and a distinctive blue-white dress; her human appearance features stylized hair resembling wolf ears. She later acquires a horned rabbit form for her psychobear companion, Psybe.
Personality-wise, Fenrys initially adhered strictly to warrior codes, viewing death in battle as honorable and considering mourning a fallen warrior an insult. This explains her lack of resentment toward Flio for unintentionally killing her brother. After marrying Flio, her temperament softened significantly, though she retained fierce protectiveness over her mate, often displaying jealousy toward other women showing interest in him. Her loyalty to Flio became paramount, leading her to defect from the Dark Army and prioritize their life together over the demon-human conflict. This shift included embracing human customs, such as learning to cook despite her clan's belief that only raw meat was suitable for warriors.
Her character development centers on adapting to domestic life while maintaining combat prowess. Key moments include accepting Flio's marriage proposal (initially a convenience for him but genuine for her), receiving a ring symbolizing their union, and integrating former adversaries like Psybe and Hiya into their household. After Hiya fatally wounded her during an attack, Flio revived her using time magic; Fenrys then advocated sparing Hiya to monitor them within their group. Her protective instincts extend to shielding Flio from political pressures, refusing involvement in the human-demon war and teleporting their household away when confronted by the Blonde Hero's army.
Fenrys' relationship with Flio evolves into mutual love, culminating in physical intimacy and discussions about future children; her demonic physiology suggests shorter pregnancy durations akin to real-world canines. She remains a stabilizing influence within their diverse household, emphasizing coexistence between species while leveraging her strength to support Flio's peaceful goals.
