This connection traces back to their shared origins in the collapsed city of Amasia, where they participated in rebuilding efforts. Mouton later joined Tokio's defection from Ideal, aligning with him as a double agent while residing in Rock Town. As a Type Zero Magus signifying advanced capabilities, Mouton's primary function is combat support through his unique Magus Skill, "Overclock." This ability enables rapid battlefield analysis, devising optimal escape routes or tactical solutions for his Drifter partner to execute under duress.
