Description
Kamuhitsuki reigns as the supreme head goddess of all Yanato deities. She embodies the Tree of Creation, the origin of all things, though her current form holds diminished power compared to previous generations due to the nature of succession. Despite this relative weakness, she retains an all-powerful presence within the Mihashira Capital.

Her formal name is Kamuhitsuki-no-Mikoto: "Kamuhi" denotes "a goddess among gods," "ki" reflects her incarnation as part of the Tree of Creation, and "Mikoto" signifies "most precious." She exclusively holds the privilege of being addressed as "Mikoto" (Noble One) among the Yanato pantheon. Equivalents to her exist within the pantheons of other nations, akin to sibling deities.

Following Sakuna's destruction of the divine rice garner during a confrontation with trespassing humans in the Lofty Realm, Kamuhitsuki banished Sakuna and the humans to the Isle of Demons (Hinoe). She charged them with clearing the island of demons and establishing control, as the vanished bridge between realms prevented the humans' immediate return to the Lowly Realm. After Kokorowa confessed to sabotaging Sakuna's offerings out of jealousy, Kamuhitsuki permitted Sakuna to revisit the capital. Kamuhitsuki initially considered punishing Kokorowa for treason but, heeding a servant's counsel, spared her due to indispensable skills, offering forgiveness instead and reminding Sakuna of her ongoing mission.

Kamuhitsuki wields the authority to alter natural laws. When petitioned with suitable amber tributes, she can adjust temperature and weather patterns across Hinoe Island. This function is accessed by speaking with Tauemon after restoring her favor. Her design draws inspiration from Freesia in *Fairy Bloom Freesia*, reimagined with a more goddess-like aesthetic, though she is a distinct character.
