Description
Meguru Hachimiya is a 16-year-old high school student born on July 22nd. She possesses Japanese and American heritage, born in Massachusetts, USA, and relocated to Japan during her third year of elementary school. Her family consists of her Japanese father and American mother, with whom she resides. Standing 157 cm tall, she has blonde hair, blue eyes, and measurements of 90-59-89 cm.

Energetic, friendly, and highly extroverted, Meguru thrives on connecting with others. She openly expresses emotions and prioritizes friendships, carving out time for friends despite a packed schedule. This sociable nature makes her popular at school, though she dislikes solitude and easily feels lonely, often seeking physical closeness with trusted individuals. She struggles to understand romantic feelings and typically declines confessions. Academically averse but athletically gifted, she participates in four sports teams: basketball, volleyball, swimming, and track and field.

As part of the idol unit illumination STARS, Meguru performs alongside Mano Sakuragi and Hiori Kazano. She serves as the unit's unconditionally positive force, uplifting her more reserved teammates. Meguru helps Hiori communicate better and provides personal dance lessons to Mano, while planning group activities like surprise parties to support them during challenges. The unit engages in rigorous training, debut preparations, and performances at events such as the Wonder Idol Nova Grand Prix and their first live concert.

Meguru balances idol duties with school and sports. Initially joining 283 Production after a friend submitted her application, her curiosity propelled her from trainee to full idol. Her journey includes overcoming challenges like synchronizing dance routines during training camps and fostering unity in collaborative performances with units like Houkago Climax Girls and ALSTROEMERIA.

Her costumes incorporate international elements, featuring card titles in languages like Italian, German, Esperanto, and Spanish, reflecting her multicultural background. Key designs include "Sparkle Illumination," "Siriusly Crown," "Twinkly Cheerful," and the "Planetes Series," where her variation represents the sun/day. She shares a birthday with fellow idols Shin Sato and Genbu Kurono.
