Mayu Mineda is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Nagano Prefecture, born on November 28, 1997. Her interest in voice acting was sparked during high school, inspired by the versatile performances of voice actress Aoi Yuki and her family's outings to see musicals. To pursue this career, she trained at the Japan Narration Acting Institute and joined the talent agency VIMS in 2017.

Mineda made her professional debut in 2018 with small roles in anime television series. Her career gained momentum in 2019 with a series of supporting roles, including Hazuki Yuiga in the romantic comedy We Never Learn: BOKUBEN and Kanako Mitsue in the sports drama Stars Align. That same year, she also began building her resume in video games, voicing the character RoRo in Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX.

The year 2020 marked a period of growth for Mineda with several notable roles. She voiced Shaei Miyama in the third season of A Certain Scientific Railgun T and Mihoshi Amanogawa in the reboot series Hakushon Daimaō 2020. She also appeared as Rin Tanba in Saikyō Kamizmode!. In 2021, she was cast as Millia in the fantasy adventure series Peach Boy Riverside.

A pivotal role in her career began in 2021 when she started voicing Meguru Hachimiya in the multimedia franchise The Idolmaster Shiny Colors. As a member of the unit illumination STARS, her involvement in the franchise included performing on several singles, two of which reached the top five on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, and participating in numerous live concert events. In 2022, she was cast as Higuruma in the anime adaptation In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki.

Beyond voice acting, Mineda launched a solo music career in 2023 under the record label Dreamusic. Her debut mini-album, WHO ARE ME?, was released in August of that year. Her discography also includes numerous character songs from her various roles, particularly from The Idolmaster franchise and the Gunvolt video game series. Her work extends to radio hosting, including the program Super! A&G+ Mihomayu, and appearances at live events and reading theaters.
