Description
Huò Shì Míng Huáng commands the heretical Order of the Divine Swarm, dedicated to seizing the Sorcerous Sword Index from Shāng Bù Huàn through any means. He wields the dual swords Zhū Yè Jù Huǐ, attached to silk tethers and manipulated via sorcery to strike at range. His mastery of dark magic encompasses force fields, gravity manipulation, illusions, and telekinesis. His power allows him to effortlessly battle multiple skilled opponents simultaneously, including Shāng Bù Huàn, Làng Wū Yáo, and Mù Tiān Mìng. He personally trained Order members in sorcery and crafted their magical artifacts.

Huò Shì Míng Huáng secretly holds the title of Emperor of Xī Yōu, a revelation occurring during the series climax. This dual identity enabled him to manipulate events across Xī Yōu and Dōng Lí, advancing his goals through the Order while ruling as Emperor. He recruited the disillusioned general Wàn Jūn Pò into the Order by exploiting his discontent with Xī Yōu court corruption, deliberately concealing his imperial status, rendering Wàn Jūn Pò an unwitting pawn.

His conflict with Shāng Bù Huàn centers on the Sorcerous Sword Index, containing potent blades from the War of the Fading Dusk. In an earlier Xī Yōu confrontation, Huò Shì Míng Huáng overpowered Shāng Bù Huàn, Làng Wū Yáo, and Mù Tiān Mìng, blinding Mù Tiān Mìng when Shāng hesitated to use the Index's power, forcing Shāng to flee Xī Yōu with the artifact.

During the final confrontation in *Thunderbolt Fantasy: Sword Seekers -The Finale-*, coinciding with the War of Fading Dusk's resurgence, Huò Shì Míng Huáng enacts his plan as Dōng Lí and Xī Yōu unite against the demonic threat. He reveals his identity as Emperor and attempts to seize control using the assembled Shén Huì Mó Xiè swords. His defeat results in a fate he considers worse than death. His actions impact the series' worldbuilding, connecting to the Pili universe through elements like the character Bái Lián.

His leadership relies on manipulation and indirect control, viewing subordinates like Yì Piāomiǎo as brute force instruments rather than strategic assets. This approach extended to his governance, enforcing a warped meritocracy in the demon realm that prioritized state power over individual welfare.
