TV-Series
Description
Bà Wáng Yù, titled Jìn Shān Wú Jī (Untamed Seeker of Might), is a disciple of the Order of the Divine Swarm bearing the Wasp insignia. She stands as the peak of martial might within the Order and Xi-You's strongest duelist, wielding unparalleled physical strength. This power allows her to strangle tigers barehanded and master the heavy spiked club Zhuì Shānhé (Falling Mountain River). Her sturdy, unfeminine build and fierce temperament led to societal rejection, fostering a deep-seated hatred for the world and driving her to join the Order where her talents were valued.

Her combat philosophy centers exclusively on brute force, making her the Order's primary enforcer who favors direct confrontation. She operates as a devastating one-woman army, single-handedly slaughtering demon garrisons and dismembering dangerous entities like the han jiao. Her abilities include the lightning technique "Thundering Shockwave" and "bone-devouring sorceries," a heretical art taught by Huò Shì Míng Huáng that allows her to assimilate the properties of beasts she consumes, necessitating frequent eating scenes.

Bà Wáng Yù's character shifts during a mission into the Demon Realm alongside fellow disciple Huā Wú Zōng (Formless Flower). Their initial relationship is contentious; she disdains his scheming nature, while he scorns her lack of traditional femininity. This dynamic changes during a battle against the demon noble Fu Er Lei Yi, where Bà Wáng Yù suffers a crippling shoulder injury and Huā Wú Zōng loses a leg. This shared near-death experience forges mutual respect and unexpected romantic feelings. They subsequently resign from the Order of the Divine Swarm, retreating into seclusion in Dong Li and entrusting the Order's future to Yì Piāo Miǎo (later revealed as Lǐn Xuě Yā in disguise), disrupting Lǐn Xuě Yā's intricate schemes.

Her narrative explores themes of societal alienation and redefined strength. She serves as the aggressive Red Oni to Huā Wú Zōng's strategic Blue Oni, their eventual partnership symbolizing an embrace of complementary virtues. Though relegated to supporting antagonist status in Season 4's condensed plot, her arc concludes with a focus on personal fulfillment over power, contrasting her earlier blood knight persona.
