Description
Noel Stollen's defining ambition is to become the strongest Seeker, a path inspired by his grandfather, the legendary hero Overdeath, Brandon Stollen. Orphaned by an accident that claimed his parents, Noel was raised solely by Brandon in a village that ostracized them, viewing the tragedy as a curse for Brandon's beast-slaying past. This isolation, intensified by childhood bullying, forged Noel's fierce pride and independence, embodying Brandon's teaching that "a man shouldn't be looked down upon." His resolve crystallized when his Talker job—universally deemed the weakest for its inability to self-buff—was appraised, leading to four years of grueling combat training under Brandon. Following Brandon's death in battle, Noel vowed to surpass his legacy.

He possesses an androgynous appearance frequently mistaken for feminine, marked by straight black hair reaching his shoulders, red eyes, and a mole. Despite delicate features, rigorous training has given him a well-built physique. His typical attire consists of a long black coat with a fur collar and cuffs, black boots, white pants, and a red sleeveless turtleneck.

Noel's personality blends cold pragmatism with unyielding ambition. He prioritizes power and financial gain over emotions, embraces infamy over obscurity, and adheres to a philosophy of retaliating "a thousandfold" against slights or betrayals. This is starkly illustrated when former party members Lloyd and Tanya stole clan funds; Noel paralyzed them with his Stun Howl ability, brutally beat Lloyd, and sold both into slavery to recover the losses, declaring his belief in "gender equality" while threatening Tanya. Despite his ruthlessness, he respects personal autonomy, despising blind obedience like Koga's servility or Leon's rigid adherence to tradition.

As a Talker, Noel wields voice-based skills for support and control. His Tactician skill boosts party members' abilities by 25% through strategic orders. Confess forces truth-telling via mind control. Assault Command temporarily decuples ally attack power, followed by severe vulnerability. He also uses Stun Howl and Exorcism for crowd control. To offset his class limitations, he employs physical techniques like the heart-targeting strike Commotio Cordis and the incapacitating kick Roaring Thunder, alongside weapons including knives and a revolver loaded with magic bullets.

His relationships are largely transactional, driven by his ambition to build a powerful clan. He revered Brandon as both mentor and inspiration, carrying forward his grandfather's will. After initially joining the party Blue Beyond, he formed his own clan, Wild Tempest, upon recognizing the necessity of collective strength over individual prowess. His interactions with allies like Alma, Koga, Loki, and Hugo Coppélia emphasize leadership through cunning rather than camaraderie.

Noel progresses methodically from a C-rank Talker to a B-rank Tactician, leveraging his strategic intellect and silver tongue to recruit powerful allies. His journey centers on establishing Wild Tempest as the world's greatest clan, accepting any means—manipulation, coercion, or violence—to achieve supremacy.
