Description
Ichijiku Kadenokōji occupies pivotal roles as Japan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Superintendent General of the Metropolitan Police Department, and Director-General of the Administrative Inspectorate Bureau. A central strategist for the Party of Words, she steers its policies and upholds the political regime of Prime Minister Otome Tohoten, to whom she pledges unwavering loyalty rooted in deep respect. This allegiance solidified after her younger sister, Natsume, was kidnapped and murdered by a corrupt politician Ichijiku had exposed during her prior career as an investigative journalist. The tragedy fueled her vehement misandry and conviction that society would thrive in the absence of men.

Ruthlessly aggressive in enforcing the Party’s vision, Ichijiku mandates the use of Hypnosis Mics—neural-manipulating devices deployed in rap battles that replace conventional warfare. Her customized Hypnosis Mic takes the form of an ornate rapier adorned with a gold chain and speakers sculpted into lion heads resting atop a prison-gate motif, emblematic of her ironclad authority. Though stern and unyielding, she harbors unexpected tenderness, notably shielding Nemu Aohitsugi, a subordinate, and gradually softening her demeanor under Otome’s mentorship and Nemu’s influence.

Her interactions with men brim with open contempt, exemplified by her harsh treatment of Ramuda Amemura, a clone operative under her command. Yet her ruthlessness is deliberate; she employs calculated interventions, such as deploying a Hypnosis Canceller to suppress illicit rap battles, and arbitrates territorial disputes to reinforce the Party’s supremacy.

Ichijiku’s striking appearance features dusty red-pink hair bound by a black bow, an undercut, and the Party’s emblem tattooed over her left breast. She dons a tailored blue coat, black corset, and heeled boots, accessorized with a diamond-tipped cane. Personal quirks encompass a curated bow collection and attendance at refined tea gatherings with Otome and Nemu—a stark contrast to her austere public persona.

Her trajectory reveals gradual evolution: once rigidly dogmatic, she begins navigating political shifts and interpersonal bonds with introspection, balancing ideological zeal against flickers of adaptability. This duality cements her as a figure both feared and multifaceted, entrenched in power yet subtly shaped by humanity’s nuances.
