TV-Series
Description
Springman is a Devil Chojin and core member of the Seven Devil Chojin, operating under Buffaloman's command. His body consists of a large metallic silver spring torso, with four smaller spring limbs connected by metal rods. His face has bright yellow eyes and a capital "S" on the forehead, featuring no visible mouth. His limbs end in blue gloves and boots. In later appearances during the *Kinnikuman Nisei* era, he adopts glasses due to failing eyesight.
His spring-based physiology grants high durability against physical attacks and the ability to constrict opponents like a snake. This allows him to absorb impacts, negate damage, and bounce unpredictably. His signature techniques are the **Devil Tomboy**, coiling around foes to crush them, and the **Spring Body-Breaking Squeeze**. He later trains under Sneagator to increase his elasticity and constriction power.
Springman debuts when the Seven Devil Chojin are freed, participating in Meat Alexandria's abduction. He defeats Wolfman by creating rock stairs to bounce and constrict him, splitting Wolfman's body. Later, he teams with Buffaloman in a tag match against Kinnikuman and Mongolman. Mongolman exploits Springman's vulnerability to rust by generating sweat-induced rain, weakening him. Springman is electrocuted and killed when kicked into an electrified wall timer.
Revived, he joins the battle against the Perfect Large Numbers in the **Perfect Origin Arc**. At the Saqqara Pyramid, he fights Grim Reaper, using his spring body to shatter a corner post and land a dropkick. When the pyramid steps collapse, his match merges with Buffaloman's, forming a tag team against Grim Reaper and Turboman. Springman attacks Turboman to avenge SteCase King's death, using a **Spring Cyclone** and **Killer-Coil Head Attack**. Turboman hardens Springman's body with energy, leaving him vulnerable. In a final sacrifice, Springman lifts Buffaloman for the **Long Horn Train** and **Most Super Express**, using him as a battering ram to impale Turboman. This shatters Springman's legs, and he dies moments later in Buffaloman's arms.
In *Kinnikuman Nisei*, Springman is resurrected again under unspecified circumstances. He visits a hospitalized Buffaloman and accompanies him to observe a match between Mantaro Kinniku and Ashuraman. Buffaloman reveals during this time that Ashuraman killed his child, Shiva.
Springman maintains close bonds with fellow Devil Chojin. He and Buffaloman frequently tag-team, sharing mutual respect and camaraderie. He deeply values SteCase King, considering him a friend unjustly treated as a "pathetic toy" by Sneagator. Springman's desire to avenge SteCase King's death fuels his aggression toward Turboman. He demonstrates loyalty, encouraging Black Hole to embrace his Devil Chojin nature during a match.
