Description
Jue Viole Grace is the identity assumed by the protagonist Twenty-Fifth Baam during the events of the Workshop Battle arc, following a profound and traumatic transformation. After being betrayed and pushed into the abyss by his closest friend, Rachel, Baam was presumed dead. He was instead rescued by FUG, a shadowy and powerful criminal organization dedicated to the overthrow of King Jahad and his empire. To sever him from his past and mold him into a weapon, FUG gave him a new name, Jue Viole Grace, which honors his late parents: Arlen Grace and V.

The personality of Jue Viole Grace is a stark and deliberate departure from the naive, kind-hearted boy who first entered the Tower. After years of isolation and harsh training under FUG, he has become silent, cold, and calculating. He speaks little and rarely shows emotion, his eyes often described as distant or as if looking down on others. This emotional suppression serves as a protective mechanism, shielding him from further pain after Rachel's betrayal and the isolation he endured. However, this cold exterior is not his true nature. He retains a powerful sense of empathy and an internal struggle, feeling immense guilt over the actions he is forced to perform as a FUG agent. His primary motivation is no longer a simple desire to find Rachel but has been replaced by a forced and conflicted objective: to become a living weapon for FUG, destined to slay King Jahad and his kin.

Within the story of the Workshop Battle, Viole occupies a central and tragic role. As a Slayer Candidate, one of FUG's most promising operatives destined to become a god-like figure for the organization, he is forced to participate in the workshop battle on the thirtieth floor. His existence is a paradox; he is simultaneously a feared enemy to those loyal to Jahad and a manipulated pawn for his own masters. His actions are closely monitored by powerful FUG members like the Slayer Karaka and his mentor, the High Ranker Ha Jinsung, who trained him in deadly techniques such as the Floral Butterfly Piercing. Despite his role as a tool of FUG, his inner desire is to protect his former teammates and friends, who he reunites with during the battle, creating a web of complex loyalties.

Key relationships define his struggle during this period. His bond with his old friends, particularly Khun Aguero Agnis and Rak Wraithraiser, is the most significant conflict. While officially an enemy, Viole secretly acts to keep them safe, such as when he ensures the safety of Khun's teammates after an explosion. The reunion with them, especially when Rak tackles him and confirms his true identity, is a pivotal moment that forces him to confront who he has become. He also forms a reluctant and uneasy bond with his new team, Team Sweet and Sour, led by the optimistic Ja Wangnan, who accepts him despite his fearsome reputation. His relationship with his primary FUG handler, the guide Hwaryun, further underscores his lack of agency, as she orchestrates events to keep him on his destined path.

Viole's development throughout the Workshop Battle is one of a prisoner slowly reclaiming his will. He begins the arc as a near-automaton, resigned to his fate and pushing everyone away by declaring himself the enemy. His mannerisms, clothing, and fighting style are curated by FUG to project an image of a fears, an image of a fearsome and divine slayer. However, through his interactions with his lost friends and his new team, his suppressed compassion resurfaces. By the end of the arc, with the help of his allies, he begins to break free from FUG's direct control and moves toward reclaiming his identity as Baam, while still carrying the power and the burden of alias Jue Viole Grace.

His notable abilities have grown exponentially during his time training with FUG. As an Irregular, he possesses immense natural talent and control over Shinsoo, the energy that composes the Tower. Viole is an exceptionally gifted Wave Controller, capable of using up to six baangs simultaneously, a feat that far exceeds most Regulars of his rank. His skill set includes a mastery of techniques he has copied from others, including the Blue Oar for high-speed movement and defensive barriers. His signature offensive techniques include the powerful Floral Butterfly Piercing Technique, a shockwave attack learned from Ha Jinsung that causes massive internal damage, and reverse-flow control to paralyze opponents. Most significantly, he becomes the wielder of a fragment of the Thorn, a legendary and reality-defying weapon left behind by the Irregular Enryu. This Thorn, which floats near him, drastically amplifies his power and grants him abilities such as negating regeneration and immortality, marking him as a true threat to the King of the Tower.
