Taichi Ichikawa
Description
Taichi Ichikawa is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the agency VIMS. He was born in Tokyo on February 4, 1993. Ichikawa decided to pursue a career in voice acting during high school after being inspired by a radio show hosted by Showtaro Morikubo. He later attended vocational school while also enrolled in university, where he was taught by fellow voice actor Jun Fukushima. He is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute.
Ichikawa began his professional career in 2015, taking on minor and background roles in series such as Aoharu x Machinegun and Food Wars. His first major role came in 2017 when he was cast as Kurogo Kurusu in the television anime Kabukibu!. He has since built a diverse filmography, with several prominent performances. He voices the protagonist Twenty-Fifth Bam, also known as Jue Viole Grace, in the anime adaptation of Tower of God. In the series World's End Harem, he plays the leading role of Reito Mizuhara. His other significant roles include Seiji Maki in Bloom Into You, Hayato Urabe in Major 2nd, Hikaru Kiyomiya in Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, and the Gulliver brothers in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. He also plays the character Cap in the Duel Masters King series, Mou Ki in Kingdom, and Chidori in the net anime Tenka Tōitsu Koi no Ran: Shutsujin! Saika 4-nin Shū.
In addition to anime, Ichikawa has lent his voice to numerous video games. His game credits include Cyan in Trinity Trigger, Searle in Dream Meister and the Recollected Black Fairy, and Suberu Minagi in A3!. He has also been active in other media, hosting several radio programs such as MAN TWO MONTH RADIO: Ichikawa Taichi no Kitaichi Yōjō-chū! and RADIO M4!!!!, and participating in stage plays. His work has gained international recognition, leading to his appearance as a guest at events like Anime Festival Asia Singapore in 2024 for a Tower of God panel.
