TV-Series
Description
Taizo Kiyokura, young president and heir of the Kiyokura Group, carries his role with composed courtesy, displaying notably gentlemanly conduct toward women. He oversees the group's demanding Vanguard trading card game ventures.
Chosen by Welstra, the "Fated One of Guiding Star" card, he commands a Blitz Industry deck focused on "Product Orders." This strategy manually activates unit effects multiple times per turn, enabling rear-guard retirement, opponent power reduction, or Product unit summons, all spearheaded by Welstra.
A decade before the main events, Taizo counseled at a Kiyokura Group summer camp attended by Akina Myodo, Hikari Myodo, Nao Inabe, Mikoto Saito, Suo Yobitsugi, and Kuon, with Masanori Iseki nearby. This camp forged early bonds among the Fated Ones before ending abruptly after an incident at nearby ruins involving Sybilt.
In the original Fated Clash timeline, Taizo survived as the Sole Survivor while others perished as collateral damage from Suo Yobitsugi’s wish for "nothing." This outcome shifted when "Fox Mask"—Hikari Myodo from a Bad Future—recruited him after time-traveling, leveraging his survival to prevent the deaths.
During the Fated Clash, Taizo faced Akina Myodo but lost. Akina’s unconventional strategy removed all Heal Triggers and Sentinels to maximize aggression. Taizo, expecting standard defense, misjudged the approach and overlooked Rezael’s Divine Skill activation. He acknowledged the tactic’s legitimacy despite defeat.
In the Destined Showdown arc, he joined a team representing the Fated Ones as the only male member who did not secure victory in their matches.
After resolving the Fated Clash and Sybilt’s threat, Taizo continued managing Kiyokura Group’s Vanguard enterprises and competed in the Deluxe tournament for the strongest cardfighters.
